I suggest we start recruiting solely based on tryouts. My arguement: Instead of using the same boring formula as every other clan, we start to bring about some thing new. We eliminate level and K/D requirement and have possible members tryout solely on a tryout basis.
We could have something like this:
A person asks to join the clan. We give them a tryout ( I could do the tryouts if anyone wants me to). To join the clan they atleast have to get a K/D above 1.5 in match and not get knifed by the recruiter or something like that. To secure Infinite a competitive spot, I think it is necessary to set a gold standard as I have proposed. Let me know what you guys think.

Olive, I usually I love your ideas, but I will have to disagree on this one. 1.Tryouts don't show your full capability in game 2.If one of the officers is beaten then the person gets way too cocky in the clan 3.A lot of the recruitment has to do about how much people are going to contribute, so no matter what you have to have that boring stuff 4.Reviewing people on text shows their personality and whether you want them in clan or not HOWEVER, I do think we have to more assertive and show that we aren't JUST letting anyone in. Which I think this is what you want and a few others have said the same.

I think it would be a good idea to do tryouts. But I do not agree with only doing that. I think we should consider a combination of the two sides.

Yeah, To redo my comment on this, I am more towards Nathan. I do not however believe that a tryout is a bad idea added on to what we already have.

tryouts are a wierd thing. It isn't as consistent because of lag, who he/she faces, what map and weapons. Especially if someone has good potential, but hasn't leveled to get all the good skills. I disagree :/. Tryouts would be part of it, but not SOLELY it.

We been over this countless of times... what is the best way to recruit... so what if we recruit a high level player with a high k/d rate but hardly play...whats the use..? yes we have...ahem a level 62 player... but i hardly see him or her... i dont even talk to that person before also... yes i saw him in few matches and try to talk to him... i dont think he understand english...kakakakaka...
anyway my suggestion is to have a try out match, to check their online and hardcore time at the statistic... say 100 hours for online and 30 hours for hardcore... and to have a try out period of say 1 month...during the one month the player must be active playing, contributing and also took part in chats at room 7 or at this forum...
but what about low k/d... well we can help them to rise it by playing in TE type game in groups...

I want to propose we start a "Infinite Training School". We should not be lettig K/d decide anything. For example, *I know jason and luke are obnoxious but lets take them as an example* Suppose me or doodle or vex takes charge in training either luke or jason. Their K/ds are shit but we could help them improve. We could teach themm how to be better at the game.

I know you most likely did not mean to insult but to suggest players are better than others will only make people play worse(: I agree, I just do not believe they need THAT much help. I believe if they needed help, they themselves would come and ask. What is INT going to do? Go and say "Hey, Go through this training or get kicked." No, I don't think that is a right move. I believe that we are a community clan that is a happy environment. That is why people are attracted to us. No stress, just help if THEY ask for it.

I was joking doodle. I truly belive that having such a training school will be key to improving people's k/d and skill level. I know my skill grew from the people I trained with and I definitely did not get worse. The thing I am trying to do with the Int training school is to put people who want to be in Int who do not fit requirement on a rigiourous testing where with look at skill tree, playstyle on each map and such. By doing so, we could help luke or jason (as a example) who are not Int ready intermms of requirement and help them become better players so they represent Int well. Plus, we have the added factor knowing that Int reputation wont be harmed. In adddition, people are less likely to leave when they pass the training school because they feel a part of the community, making us a more diverse community.
EDIT: I know luke and jason well enough to poke fun at them

Alright. It makes sense. I just do not believe that it should be a requirement or even a suggestion to refrain from insulting players. It should be them asking for help or a close friend suggesting. Not a requirement or CLAN suggestion.
